Vodacom

This work was done as a public commission for a cellular telephone company in South Africa. My intention was to produce an instrument capable of gathering physical and emotional messages from “the sky” and to metamorphose these into the most essential form of creativity (line drawings in the sand). Since we live in a country that manifests a collision of cultures, I wanted the materials to reflect this cultural hybridity.
